Member feedback - Thanks to member feedback Upper Hutt Parents Centre is focusing on what members want in 2012. We are working on improving local discounters and expanding our range of courses so you're getting more for your membership. We've already added three toddler specific courses, Toddler Speech, Toddler Nutrition and Positive Discipline as well as retaining our Toilet Training course. Award winning centre - Upper Hutt Parents Centre won three awards in two days. At the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards, sponsored by Upper Hutt City Council, Wellington Community Trust, and Wellington International Regional Airport, on Thursday 6 October Upper Hutt Parents Centre was recognised for its work in the Education and Child/Youth Development section. Then at the Parents Centre Volunteer Symposium, in Auckland on October 7 it was awarded the Bigger and Better Award and President Sarah Kitchen was the recipient of the CEO Award of Excellence.
