Childbirth Education

If you are expecting your first baby Childbirth Education Classes (antenatal classes) help prepare you for labour, birth and the early days with your new baby.

Classes are a lot of fun. They can help to answer any questions you have about the pregnancy and birth process, and more importantly, they put you in touch with other expectant parents. Most groups go on to form lasting friendships, and have regular coffee catchups after your babies are born.

Upper Hutt Parents Centre Childbirth Education Classes run for seven consecutive weeks on Monday nights 7pm-9.15pm.

Each course costs $165.  This includes the seven week course, a hospital tour, a one year membership to Upper Hutt Parents Centre, and the establishment of a “coffee group”.

Space is limited so to book, fill out the CBE enrolement form Click to Download Reader, and email to uhpc.childbirthed@yahoo.co.nz, alternatively leave a message on 04 939 8990 and we will call you back.
