Taieri Parents Centre would like to congratulate everyone on their hard effort and deserved sales, what a fantastic effort. We are working already to secure this opportunity for Parents Centres again next year and will be asking you for your evaluations over the next few days. We would appreciate all your comments, what worked well, what worked not so well and any new ideas for making this event bigger and better!
We wish you could have all been there on Race Day, it was heaps of fun, with an estimated 15,000 people in attendance. We hope you all saw the coverage on the TV1 & TV3 News, if not the links are below. We handed out 500 bags containing Parents Centre information along with other goodies, and gave away 750 PCNZ Ballons on the day to visitors from all over New Zealand so this marketing & publicity should hopefully filter it's way back to the Centres in due course. It was great to have Joan Hay our Volunteer Support Manager there on the day to represent Parents Centre NZ Inc. Thanks Joan and the National Support Centre for your support with this event. We estimate a total of just over $48,000 for Parents Centre nationwide!
The Winners of the Taieri Parents Centre Cash Competition for the North and South Islands were: Mana & Dunedin - we look forward to presenting you with your cheques at the Symposium in September.
