New Plymouth Parents Centre has volunteer positions that need enthusiastic and motivated people to fill them.  Volunteers are the driving force in our centre.  The time commitment is not huge and we all have skills to share.

Newsletter Advertising

We require a motivated, positive person to secure advertising for our bi-monthly newsletter.  This is a small job - about 1 hour per month - which involves approaching businesses, securing the placements and invoicing.

Parent Education Co-ordinator/s

We run a number of informative evening courses (SKIP, Choices in Early Childhood Education) throughout the year and require one or two organised individuals to liaise with facilitators, make bookings and open/close the sessions.  Workshops are approximately every second month and each requires about two hours work.

Tinies to Tots Co-ordinator – URGENTLY REQUIRED

This workshop runs over three evenings and is aimed at parents with children 12 months and over.  It is one of Parents Centre's main courses and we require the co-ordinator to book the speakers, take registrations and open and close the sessions.
