Playgroups

New Plymouth Parents Centre offers a number of playgroups for infants and preschool children held at Parents Centre House, 52 Buller Street, New Plymouth.

Little Beans

A playgroup for parents with newborn to 15 month old babies.    A great way to meet other parents with infants of a similar age and enjoy a good Starbucks coffee, while the children sleep or play with the age-appropriate toys.

Mondays, 1.00pm - 2.30pm

Cost
$1.00 for members
$2.00 for non-members

Preschooler Playgroup

For parents with children 15 months onwards.  These playgroups run throughout the year and are not subject to school holidays.  However there is a two-week break over Christmas.

Time
Wednesdays and Fridays, 9.30am – 11.30am

Cost
$1.00 for members
$4.00 for non-members

Sessions include:

Interactive music time
Ride-on toys
Sand pit
Playhouse/slide
Art tables (i.e. play dough, paints etc)

Morning tea is supplied for the children, and tea and coffee for mums and dads.

The sessions are run by qualified supervisors.
