What is "normal" development, and how much "stimulation" do young babies need? This class covers the areas of language, intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. It also offers tips on how to recognise and assist each area of development, and stage appropriate activities, toys, and books. Safety issues are also covered. Morning tea will be provided and you are welcome to bring along your baby to the session. Speaker: Kelsey (Infant Massage Instructor)Cost:$8.00 members / $12.00 non-members / $5.00 partners Come along to an introduction to Infant Massage and explore how this ancient art of touch can positively benefit you and your child for years to come. All you need to bring is yourself and your baby and an open heart, along with a soft blanket to lay baby on. Kelsey will provide massage balme, relaxing music and the opportunity to connect with your baby in a different way. This course is run by a fully qualified First Aid tutor, being NZQA 6400 certified and registered with the Resuscitation Council. All attendees receive practical handouts.
