They are committed to providing clinically backed research and education to families in NZ which is in line with Parents Centres philosophy around informed and educated choice. Baby on the Move
Baby on the Move is a New Zealand owned and operated company providing free safety talks in Parents Centre antenatal classes and providing current car seat restraint information. All team members are certified Restraint Technicians and qualified to instruct and install a full variety of car seat restraints. .They can help members make informed decisions about car seats, buggys or any nursery products to suit. They provide a free installation service and believe in providing parents with the best possible knowledge, products and service so they can hire & buy right the first time. Baby on the Move offer 10% off all rentals for Parent Centre members.
We partner with Philips AVENT who supports us with product giveaways such as nipple shields, breast pumps etc. Philips AVENT is also a prime supporter of our 'Return to Work' programme.
PORSE and Parents Centres play a big role in local communities around NZ with both organisations recognising the importance of raising babies and young children in a settled environment. The PORSE approach to home-based childcare is based on research and experience around the importance of play, learning and development through close child-adult relationships, allowing children to grow and explore with confidence. As a provider of specialised professional support, training and ongoing career opportunities PORSE is also a great resource to support our Return to Work programme
