Baby & You | Moving & Munching | Tinies to Tots | Toddlers | Toolbox
Baby & You
A 5 session course for parents of babies 0-8 weeks.
A 5 week daytime course (plus a CPR Saturday) to provide information and support for parents of new babies.
This course enables parents to feel confident and empowered in their role as parents.
Sessions are relaxed, with qualified speakers.
Topics covered are :
Feeding and Sleeping, CPR, Relationships, Baby massage, Play and development, Health and Growth.
Course 5 runs 8th September - 13th October (CPR 26th July)
Course 6 runs 10th November - 15th December (CPR 27th September)
Course fee will be confirmed at time of enrolment.
Moving and Munching
A 2 session course for parents of children from 5 months.
Sessions are relaxed, with qualified speakers.
Topics covered are:
Introducing Solids & establishing good nutrition, Baby development, Safety, Play and Appropriate Toys, ways to Stimulate Language & Intellect.
Next Course - 13th & 20th November.

Tinies to Tots
A 3 session course for parents of children from 8 - 18 months.
Sessions are relaxed, with qualified speakers.
Topics covered are:
Play & Development, Accidents & Emergencies, Dental Care, Nutrition.

Toddlers
A 5 session course for parents of children from 18 months to 3 years.
Topics covered are:
Pre-school & Childcare, Development, Toilet Training, Nutrition/Health/Dentist, Parenting with Confidence.

Toolbox
A 6 session course for parents of children from 2 - 5 years led by a Parents Inc. facilitator.
This course is designed to educate parents and teach positive and practical parenting skills.
Topics covered are:

What is a parent? Four styles of parenting, What type do children need?

Know your Pre-schooler. The physical and emotional needs of a pre-schooler, Development stages 0 - 5 years.

Bringing your kids on board. The importance of structure, routine and communication, Ways to encourage your child's co-operation, Family rules and values.

Expressing our love through discipline. Tools for handling difficult behaviour, Appropriate discipline strategies.

Creating a childhood to remember. Great ideas for having fun and building memories.

Putting it all together. Practice solving sleeping, eating and toilet training problems.
Each participant receives prompt sheets and a handbook containing a full set of course notes.
One course per year.
