Welcome to Hastings Parents Centre

Parents Centre is a nationwide voluntary organisation, run by parents for parents since 1952. Hastings Parents Centre is one of 50 centres across the country.

Hastings Parents Centre is a vital force in our community, not only supporting people before they become parents, but also acting as a support group and mentor in the years to come.

Our core services include:

• Childbirth Education (Ante-natal classes)

• Parent support

• Parent education

• Advocacy / Lobbying for birth, parenting and families

Our Mission: "Positive birth experiences and informed parenting in a community where parents are supported and highly valued in their role."

At Hastings Parents Centre we also offer:

• AVENT Breast Pump hire - competitive rates
• Coffee group support
• Fortnightly family walks - 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month - check our newsletter for locations
• Fortnightly New Parents Group - 1st and 3rd Thursday morning, 10-12pm at Hinau St. Plunket Rooms
