Barnardos 15thAnnual Teddy Bears
Picnic, organised by Hamilton Parents Centre (HPC).The Teddy Bears Picnic is run as part of the 2010
Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival.The day
is organised by a group of HPC volunteers and focuses on being one ofHamilton's largest child
focussed days.HPC aims to provide a fun
day out for the family, full of entertainment and prizes.
The Teddy Bears Picnic is HPC's annual
fundraiser, in its 15thyear this year. The day is usually attended
by approx 3000 children and their families.All proceeds on the day go towards running the childbirth education and
parent education classes, toy library and music group for our 200+ members
throughout the coming year.
Event Details:
Sunday 21stFebruary 2010 from 10am
until 2pm, held at theHamiltonGardens,Cobham Drive,Hamiltonon the Rhododendron Lawn.
Tickets: $2 per person, gate sales only.Under 1 yr free.
Theme for the day is "My Hero"
Bring you own seating and shade.
Entertainment is live on stage throughout the
day plus a range of roaming acts to give the day a festival feel. Entertainers
include Hamilton's own, The Funky Monkeys, Mica the Clown, Mr Roberelli, Zappolina
the Magician, Face painters, Stilt walkers, Balloons Funtastic, Ruben the Road
Safety Bear, , Harold the Giraffe and Cody the Sunsmart Turtle.Classic Hits will MC the event.
There will be numerous
spot prizes kindly donated by local businesses as well as a gate prize, along
withtwo fancy dress competitions, one held in the
morning and another held again in the afternoon.
Amusements and food stalls will be operating for
the duration plus the PORSEtent is
available for nappy changing, baby feeding and lost children.The Cancer Society tent will be available for
shade and free sunscreen
