tests consistently show that wool is ideal for apparel and bedding in hot,
humid, dry, cold or wet conditions. New Zealand Wool Blankets’ unique Thermacell
weave enhances the properties of wool even further, making it efficient at
regulating body temperature in the micro-climate of the bed. Thermacell is woven to form a lightweight
aircell which maximises air pockets. The result is a 365gsm blanket that allows
maximum air circulation, with the equivalent thermal effectiveness of a 400gsm
traditional blanket. Independent tests by the Wool Research
Organisation of NZ (Canesis) have shown that Thermacell blankets carry the
(internationally used) TOG value of 1.1, proving their thermal effectiveness to
be equivalent or better than a heavier, closed weave blanket.

Wandering Kiwi Child Locators  | The Giggle Bug is the most affordable locator. It is an effective, easy-to-use electronic child locator that gives parents peace of mind while out in public with small children.
The Giggle Bug clips easily onto a child’s clothing, and the small key fob is held by the parent. If a child wanders away or hides, the parent or caregiver simply activates the Giggle Bug by pushing the button on the handheld unit. The Giggle Bug emits a loud (85 dB), distinctive, child-friendly beep, until the child is located and the parent deactivates the unit. The Teddy Bear Child Locator is extremely reliable and easy to use. It has awide range and is water and shock resistant.
Simply attach the teddy bear to your child by threading onto a belt, velcro shoe strap, shoelaces or a wrist strap. Attach the wireless transmitter to your keyring or place in your pocket or bag. To avoid your child straying too far, a 25-30ft (7-9 metre) ‘geofence’ is set, meaning that when your child strays beyond this limit, your parent hand-held unit will beep to alert you. If you cannot see your child, simply use the Locate function to find and retrieve your child.
