Welcome to Bays North Harbour Parents Centre Bays North Harbour Parents Centre provides quality childbirth education (antenatal) classes and parenting education courses, as well as support and information for local parents. Our members and our volunteers live in and around the East Coast Bays, Albany, Greenhithe and Unsworth areas of the North Shore.

All our courses are at Apollo Drive, Albany - at the St John Ambulance training rooms, or next door at Apollo Health Centre. You can see a map, here.
If you live nearby, we'd love to see you at one of our courses - you don't have to be a member to attend parenting education courses.
 We now have a Facebook group for friends and members of Bays North Harbour Parents Centre. If you're on Facebook, we'd love it if you joined. The First Three Months course - with "The Baby Whisperer"We're very excited to offer a new course on November 25th, featuring Sharlene Poole, newborn advisor.
Sharlene is known as the “Baby Whisperer.” She has made TV
appearances, and was featured in “Little Treasures” magazine last month. She is revered for working with hundreds of families
overseas and now in NZ, teaching them how to care for their newborns.
She will share with
you her knowledge, techniques and give practical demonstrations on
her most popular topics “Winding and Settling Babies”.
The
session is aimed at expectant parents and those with babies aged 0-3
months. Babies are welcome to attend.
The course is on Tuesday
25th November There are two sessions available - 10am-12pm and 7-9pm (a repeat of the morning

do babies need burping?

Two new antenatal classes available - November and January
Good news from Bays North Harbour Parents Centre - due to
extremely high demand we have 2 new childbirth education (antenatal)
classes!! The courses are both intensive weekend courses, run on two Saturdays. Weekend Course One:Saturday 22nd and Saturday 29th November, 9am-3.30pm (with frequent breaks)
This course is suitable for people with due dates end Dec until mid February. Weekend Course Two:Saturday 10th and Saturday17th January, 9am - 3.30pm (with frequent breaks) This course is suitable for people with due dates mid Feb until end of March.
