Auckland East Parents Centre is one of five Parents Centres in the Auckland area and our area broadly covers Botany, Pakuranga, Panmure, Howick, Beachlands and Maraetai. 

We have over 200 members and have lots to offer, including:

Childbirth Education Courses (often referred to as Antenatal courses) you will meet other expectant parents, learn about birth and parenting. Our courses offer an informal but professional learning environment.  At the end of the course you can expect to be part of an invaluable, supportive coffee group

Parent Education Courses:

Baby & You: for parents with newborn babies (0-8 weeks at the start of the course) offering practical suggestions for the everyday challenges facing first-time parents.  Also a great place to make new friends.  Includes first aid and CPR.

Moving & Munching: for parents with older babies (4-8 month old) offering ideas to support your baby's new found skills and explores the topic of introducing solid food and developing healthy eating habits. 

Magic Moments: for parents of all aged children, a three evening course exploring ways to develop respectful, positive relationshps with your child.

Hot topics: Special interest events on subjects such as Toilet Training, Sibling Rivalry 

Playgroup: Runs weekly during term time, Thursday mornings 9.30 - 11.30

Friendship and support through our coffee group network

Toy Library: weekly, running through the school holidays, Friday mornings 9.30 - 11.30am
