Childbirth Education
Are you pregnant and want to know more about giving birth? If so our childbirth education courses are the way to go. Led by qualified childbirth educators, courses cover:
- Labour stages and signs
- Understanding pain relief options and intervention
- Exercise and relaxation techniques for childbirth
- Postnatal support
- Changes in family relationships
- Feeding and caring for your newborn
You'll meet with other parents and we'll organise a coffee group for the members of your course (a life-line for many new parents!).
Courses for 2011 are for babies due:
July: Thursday April 28 - 9 June
August: Wednesday June 1 - 13 July
September: Thursday 7 July - 18 August
October: Wednesday 10 August - 21 September
November/December: Thursday 1 September - 13 October
December/January: Wednesday 19 October - 30 November:
January/ March: 3 November - 15 December
Course cost : $180, includes seven week course for you and your birth partner plus one years membership to Parents Centre
